Meet the Maker Behind Twin Cedars Maker Company
Hi, I’m Anita, the owner and maker behind Twin Cedars Maker Company, a small Virginia business built around creativity, craftsmanship, and the simple joy of making something special with your own two hands.
After spending much of my career working in healthcare as a Surgical First Assistant, I decided it was time for a new chapter—one that allowed me to turn my love of creating into something more.
And Twin Cedars Maker Company became that chapter.
I’ve always enjoyed making things, but I don’t believe creativity has to fit neatly into one category. That’s why you’ll find a little bit of everything at Twin Cedars. I sew, crochet, knit, learning CAD so I can design my own 3d items, craft, and 3D print, creating products that range from practical everyday items to colorful decorations, gifts, toys, and things that are simply fun.
Many of my products are made individually or in small batches, which means they aren’t coming off a giant production line. They’re made by a real person who cares about how they look, how they function, and what you receive when you open your package.
More Than Just Handmade
Twin Cedars Maker Company brings traditional handmade craftsmanship together with modern maker technology.
One day I may be sitting at a sewing machine making bowl cozies, kitchen towels, or other useful items. Another day I might have yarn in my hands creating a crocheted animal or knitted winter accessory. And somewhere nearby, there’s a good chance a 3D printer is busy bringing another one of our EXCLUSIVE animal coaster designs, dragon, flexi, keychain, or new idea to life.
That variety is part of what makes Twin Cedars special.
I love creating things that are useful, giftable, colorful, unique, and sometimes just a little unexpected.
Made in Virginia. Made With Care.
Twin Cedars Maker Company is based in Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
What started with a love of making has grown into a small business that I’m excited to continue building. My goal isn’t simply to sell products—it’s to create a business where people can find things they won't see everywhere else and feel good knowing there is an actual maker behind what they purchase.
Whether you find Twin Cedars online, at a craft show, or through someone who already owns one of my creations, I hope you find something that makes you smile.
Every purchase supports a small, independent maker and allows me to keep doing something I truly enjoy:
Making things people love.
Thank you for supporting Twin Cedars Maker Company and being part of this next chapter with me.
